Apple has launched its new subscription service, Apple Creator Studio, available for $12.99 per month or $129 annually. This bundle includes several of the company’s professional creative applications and offers a one-month free trial for new subscribers.

With Apple Creator Studio, users gain access to professional video, music, and imaging software, including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage. Notably, Pixelmator Pro is now available on iPad for the first time, featuring a touch-optimized interface and Apple Pencil support.

The subscription also enhances Apple’s productivity apps, providing access to premium templates and a new Content Hub with curated graphics and illustrations. While Keynote, Pages, and Numbers remain free, subscribers will benefit from additional features in these applications.

Apple is introducing new AI-driven features within the apps, such as Beat Detection in Final Cut Pro, which helps users align edits to music tracks. Logic Pro will also receive AI-assisted tools to improve workflow on both Mac and iPad.

Apple Creator Studio is compatible with various Apple devices, although not all apps are available on every platform. On Mac, subscribers can access all included apps, while on iPad, only selected apps are available. The iPhone version unlocks premium features in productivity apps but does not include full versions of the creative software.

For educational users, a discounted plan is available at $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year, which also includes a one-month free trial. While the subscription model offers new features, Apple continues to provide one-time purchase options for its major apps on the Mac App Store.

Subscribers can retain access to projects created during their subscription, but will need an active account to edit them in the paid apps. Documents created in free apps remain editable without a subscription, though paid features will be inaccessible after cancellation.
